A Memorable Summer Night

The hot and humid July evening ended the sticky work week as I would have never imagined. I found myself amongst my friends feasting on funnel cake and soda, reminiscing of the labor and resulted failure of a much anticipated musical extravaganza. My acquaintance and I was unexpectedly blessed with three much desired passes to, in our minds, the most spectacular event of the summer.
The desired passes brought excitement that completely warmed and yet overwhelms our little hearts. We just received three passes to Heaven for a mere fifteen dollars. The evening air was setting in, yet we had to transport our friend. certainly much adrenaline was running through our bodies. We are too over writ with glee.
The excitement increased as we advanced breathlessly to the track. Plenty of thoughts swirling in our head. Is this really happening? Could all this be real? The a most amazing beginning to a most memorable night.
As the night went into full blast, it felt like the whole world could hear all of us screaming fans. We were screaming and singing so loud with everyone surrounding us, we could not hear ourselves; it is a weird , but also pleasing feeling.

Somethings i just cant learn from my parents.

Something's I just cant learn from my parents is how most teenagers act in this generation. My parents have no idea, outside of my brother and me, how teenagers can be. You have those types of teens who are really cruel, and like to gossip and spread rumors. Or you'll have the type who are really respectful, and smart. A lot of teens are emotional; they usually go to their closest friends first when they are having problems instead of their parents, so their parents have no idea what is going on and how much others teens actually know. Sometimes I think it would be better to go to my parents to tell them how I am feeling instead of my friends, because I feel like my parents would know exactly what to say to make me feel better.

Along for the Ride.

The book I was just reading was called "Along for the Ride" It was a great book! The book started out with a family of 4. One of the kids were in Europe for school, so it was just Auden( the daughter) and her mom and dad. In the beginning of the book the parents were having problems because the dad was a book writer and spent to much time writing the book and not spending anytime with the family. Of all the endless nights fighting Auden became a person who stayed up all night long. Their parents ended up getting a divorce. Her dad moved to Colby and lives with his new fiancé. Auden went to live with them in the Summer. Auden is a type of person that only focused on school. She never hung out with friends, or had really any close ones, or had a social life. But living in Colby for the Summer changed her. She had many friends, talked to guys, and was out all night with a boy, Eli. Auden never really did any normal childhood things that most kids knew how to do. She never learned how to ride a bike, until this summer. She never went bowling, until Eli taught her how to. Her life really changed when she came to her dad house in the Summer.

All About Me

I'm Mariah McCabe. I am a senior in high school. I'm involved in band and volleyball. I was born on February 21, 1996. I am the youngest in my family, with two older brothers. I also have a puppy, her name is Macey. Growing up, during my elementary years I was a shy girl that never talked. I out grew that stage and I'm really talkative now. I love the show Pretty Little Liars. I spent every Tuesday night watching that show. My favorite movie is Pitch Perfect. I use to watch that movie every night before I went to bed. My favorite sport to play is volleyball. I was also in swim team for 8 years. Swim team only went on during the Summer. After high school I have my heart set on going to Western Illinois University, in the quad cities.
